| Description: | The reservoir is a 19,305 acre impoundment operated by the US Army Corps of Engineers and located within Cooper Lake State Park. The reservoir is located in northeast Texas at mile 23.3 on the South Sulphur River, about 4 miles southeast of Cooper, and 13 miles north of the community of Sulphur Springs. |
